Our "Week in the Corn" 2026
At long last, here's the Good Stuff, the everyday fun of RAGBRAI with PBV! Roll through this update for all the delights and relative luxuries we've been planning for you. We'll begin with your Pork Goodies available every day in camp, including information on our wonderful non-profit partners for this year, and then roll right through the week with your day-to-day schedule of comforts, conveniences, services, and luxuries!
Please note: this is not a comprehensive list of our services or instructions. We hope you've read the applicable parts of The June Letter - linked here if you need to reference.
Do you have our FREE Pork Belly Mobile App?
Available for Apple and Android users, it provides you with an archive of PBV Updates, RAGBRAI maps and PBV maps (should be updated very soon!), tips and timely information during RAGBRAI, and more! Get the latest update of our app, don't ride without it!
Each day, our wonderful app developer, Katy, will send out important reminders about what to look forward to in Pork Camp each day, photos of our COB, and more.

Here are some of the great things you can expect each day in Pork Camp - from necessities to creature comforts to luxuries!
Morning Coffee/Breakfast Vendors
Krista starts brewing at 4:30, while it's still dark. Join all the bedheads who crawl out of their tents and stumble toward the lights of the coffee trailer!
Our little coffee trailer will always be located near Roll With It, the front desk trailer. Near this trailer, you'll find an array of breakfast items from each vendor in each overnight town - some of our vendors are raising funds for their athletic team, school, or non-profit. The typical breakfast offerings in Pork Camp are some combination of these popular items: hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, bananas, some sort of donuts/pastries/muffins/sweet rolls, oatmeal packets, cheese sticks, granola bars, chocolate milk, and maybe other yummy things. Most of our vendors have promised a limited number of hot breakfast items, get those while you can. Please read further for the day-to-day detail.
Afternoon Food Vendors in Camp
Our lunch vendors are a blend of professional vendors/restaurants, grocers, and also non-profits - the folks who are volunteering their time, and hoping to use the funds they raise for one worthy purpose or another. Let's eat up and be generous!
Three of your suppers are included (Sunday, Wednesday, Friday). Three of them are optional (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)--and you've had the chance to select among those menus. Supper is served for a two hour window, either from 5:30 to 7:30 PM or 6:00 to 8:00 PM, depending on the length of your cycling day. We have tried to get a variety of meal options and hope that you'll enjoy our selections this year! Before you get in any supper line - make sure that you bring your meal ticket with you (you will get this at check-in). We will only have enough vegetarian and gluten-free options for those who completed their Detail Forms on time.
Maybe you're thirsty after a long road. Come to our front desk for ice-cold beverages, to check out shirts, jerseys, and other merch, or to snap your photo of tomorrow's map! If you have a problem, a good place to start is our front desk. We're here from noon to 8:00 PM.
The COB (Campground Orientation Board)
At our front desk each day, you'll find a big magnetic board with a bunch of movable pieces. Each day, the Google map of our campsite is replaced with a new one, and each day, the Campground Orientation Board (COB) reflects all of our equipment and places of interest on our changing daily landscape! It's the best place to find out locations of our showers, music, and more each day.
If at any point during the week, a Pork Crew member goes above and beyond and you want to give them a tip, feel free to do so! It is never expected, but always appreciated. Any crew member who receives a tip will put it in our shared tip jar, which we divvy up amongst all crew members at our post-RAGBRAI pizza party.
If you have one of our rental tents, it is our goal to have them all set up and bags delivered by 1 PM. Depending on varying daily conditions, sometimes we may exceed this expectation and sometimes we may run over. If you arrive in camp before Tent City is open, please do not enter until we say it's ok! This will help our crew efficiently complete all of their tasks.
This year, we have been able to offer indoor sleeping in 6 out of 7 of our overnight towns, some of them with more availability than others. Please take a screenshot of your most recent confirmation email so that you know your indoor sleeping nights. Our hosts will have a list of names at check-in as well. Saturday night in Onawa and Thursday night in Marshalltown should have walk-up availability if you didn't purchase ahead of time but would like to add it. Check the COB or details below for check-in times each day. You are responsible for moving your baggage to/from Indoor Sleeping and where it needs to go - but on Sunday morning in Onawa we will have a drop location outside the High School for self-tenting bags and another for rental tent bags.
Daily Hot Shower and Towel
You'll love this part of the Pork Experience! Shower on Air-Conditioned trailers with a private dressing area for each stall and a body-wash dispenser, too! We have 76 shower heads in camp daily, and our stalls are cleaned after every use!
Showers open at noon and will close at 8:00 PM daily, as they have to head to the next town to get set up.
We have two trailers for charging phones and other devices. These trailers open at 5:00 AM and they'll be locked at 10:00 PM. If your device is in the trailer at 10 PM, it will be locked inside until the next morning. Bring your own small padlock, please, to lock a compartment while you're charging. Take your lock with you when you remove your device/s - PLEASE DO NOT lock up an empty compartment - your lock may be cut off so that others can use it.
Do remember, please, that we have separate areas for e-bike battery charging, for those with or without detachable batteries. Come to the COB (front desk) daily to learn those locations! You may leave an item in the charging trailer in the morning and have it charge during the day while you're riding - but please do remember to check and claim your items after they are fully charged.
E-Bikes with non-removable batteries: We will have a separate area for parking bikes with integrated batteries, where they can be parked and plugged in. Please keep an eye on your battery status and remove the bike when fully charged to allow others room to charge. Check the COB for this location daily, but it is usually near the PHAT Rooms.
E-Bikes with detachable batteries: Remove your battery, and bring it to "Roll With It" (the back end of our Front Desk Trailer), where we will plug it in for charging (always a good idea to label yours). DO NOT plug these in to your PHAT Rooms or the Charging Trailers. Access to this service is available from Noon until 10 PM. Please check battery status and claim when fully charged.
If you have a CPAP, "Roll With It" is where you will drop it off each morning from 5 - 7 AM and claim it each day between 1 - 10 PM. Remember to bring a battery or power source.
Your yoga teacher, Gracie, is planning Sunset Yoga this year, from 7:15 PM to 8 PM, when things are winding down. This is a chance to relax your mind, stretch your muscles, and recover from your day on the bike. It also helps you avoid injury. Check the COB each day. We’ll let you know where yoga will be happening each day. Yoga will take place Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (no yoga on Saturday or Tuesday).
PBV will have eleven talented massage therapists working in camp. On Friday evening and all day Saturday in Onawa, you’ll find our massage therapists in a convenient location near check-in, ready to take your appointments for the following six days, Sunday to Friday. Due to pre-bookings prime times have filled on some days, but they still have availability at this writing.
If you would like to book appointments in advance (now thru 7/15), please use the Massage Request Form (linked here: https://doxieworks.wufoo.com/forms/p1hrnlqk0t1qykw/). After July 15th, please email Ashley at ashley@pkbelly.com instead of completing the form. She will want to know the days, the time of day, and the duration of the massage you request (30 minutes/60 minutes). Most of our therapists are women, but let her know if you have a preference, male or female.
If you find that afternoons/evenings are full, try booking later evening appointments, so that you can go straight to bed after your relaxing massage. If possible, bring a twin bed sheet or a towel for the massage table. Please be certain that you’ll remember and honor those appointments during your week in the corn.
If during the week you want to sag, go to our front desk and ask about it, or go directly to "Pass the Corn" between the hours of 2 - 4 PM or 6 - 8 PM each day. Bikes are hung on the Pass the Corn trailer. Make every effort to get your bike loaded the night before you sag. The price is $30 per day, and the motor coach will be available to board before it goes at 7 AM (be a little early).
Our Pass the Corn trailer is open during these hours: 2:00 to 4:00 PM, 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and 6:00 to 7:00 AM. If you SAG, you’ll be able to load or claim your bicycle during these windows.
You CAN reserve spots on the SAG on any day, if you're already sure that you won't ride. Write to kay@pkbelly.com. We have already heard from riders about taking a day off the bike.
Our house mechanics will be set up in camp by about 3:00 PM on most days, and you can check the COB for their location! Our mechanics are experienced and can handle most minor issues.
Full-Service Bike Mechanics
We're so fortunate that Bike Tech from Cedar Falls, Iowa joins us at various times in camp, usually late afternoon or evening (depending on their on-route stations) to sell parts and accessories and help with bike maintenance and repair!

A few very important reminders...
Read The June Letter!
We have published The June Letter, a comprehensive guide to your RAGBRAI experience with PBV - whether you're joining us for just a shuttle or the entire Weeklong Service. This is a long document, but we have made each chapter available to download individually, and we ask you to please read the parts that apply to you so we're all on the same page! You can always email us at info@pkbelly.com with questions, but please do your best to look for the answer first as we get close to the beginning of RAGBRAI and our time is spread more thinly.
Take Your Time
Remember that you're on vacation - take time to stop and chat with that local sitting in their lawn, tour that (probably air-conditioned) museum, help out that fundraising group, stop at both ice cream booths, have "just one more"...indulge yourself! This is a short ride, and there's no need to race into camp. Plus, the extra time will help our crew out! No matter how early you arrive in Pork Camp, we still need time to set up. Please respect our crew and don't enter Tent City until 1 PM (or whenever they tell you it's all clear). The only exception to this is if you have a deadline to get on a shuttle bus the last day!
Account Balances
Just a friendly reminder that your account balances were due in full by May 15th. You may pay your balance via credit card by logging into your pkbelly.com account. We're really getting too late to think about mailing a check. If you arrive at RAGBRAI and have a balance due - you must pay with cash, we cannot accept checks and do not have a card processor on site. If you have an outstanding balance please help us out and write to us with your intentions at info@pkbelly.com. Thanks!
Cancellation Deadlines
We remind you of our Cancellation Policy and Refund Deadline, so that there's no misunderstanding. June 15th was the last day to cancel and get a 90% refund, for any reason, if you did not choose the cancellation protection. From here on out, we don't make any refunds, unless you took our cancellation protection when you initially registered. If so - then you have extended your 90% refund to Wednesday, July 15th at 10:00 PM CST. If you have our protection and cancel by email by 10:00 PM on July 15th, we will make a 90% refund by check (mailed to you after RAGBRAI). After July 15th at 10:00 PM, we're sorry, we cannot make any refunds in any instances.
If you need to cancel services: Please send us an email!
Simply write to us at info@pkbelly.com. If you're due a refund, you can include your mailing address in the text of the email. An email establishes the date of your cancellation. It makes it possible for us to look you up by name, or if the name is very common, we can look you up by email address. And it allows us to copy members of our team on the reply and keep everyone in the loop. We are scouting and traveling to other events between now and RAGBRAI, and we don't promise that we will receive voice messages. Email is the way to cancel some or all services on your registration.
Do not go into your registration form and remove all services, please. This complicates the process on our end, causing us to search for confirmation emails and reconstruct your registration to determine whether a refund is due and the amount. Simply write us an email, and we'll take it from there.
